Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician with hands-on experience in commercial/industrial electrical systems. This role installs, maintains, and troubleshoots electrical components, works from plans and diagrams, and supports field coordination to meet schedule, quality, and safety requirements.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial environments.
• Interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and single-line schematics.
• Run conduit (EMT/PVC), pull wire, terminate circuits, and label panels per specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using meters/testing equipment and apply corrective actions safely.
• Ensure work complies with NEC (or local code) and internal quality standards.
• Follow lockout/tagout and NFPA 70E practices; maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Coordinate tasks with crew leads and other trades to support project execution.

Required Education & Experience

• Valid electrical license/certification (as required by jurisdiction).
• Proven experience in commercial/industrial electrical installation and maintenance.
• Ability to read plans and execute work to spec with minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of electrical safety practices and code compliance.

Preferred Education & Experience

• OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR certifications.
• Experience with service calls, troubleshooting, and panel upgrades.
• Experience mentoring apprentices or working as a lead electrician.
